EZE: The Sculptural Pedestal Chair

In Igbo, Eze means king — not a title claimed, but a state of being recognised. This chair carries that quality in every proportion. The Eze rises from a solid central pedestal that lifts the wide, curved seat above the floor with a presence that is both grounded and elevated. The wraparound backrest offers a quiet sense of dignity and enclosure, while the pedestal base makes the piece feel sculptural — as though it belongs in a gallery as much as a home. Handcrafted in Lagos to individual commission, it is the seat of someone who needs no announcement.

Design: A wide-seated throne-style armchair with a sculptural central pedestal base and a curved, architecturally confident back.

Ideal for: Boardrooms, executive private offices, high-end hotel suites, and as a defining accent in a luxury home.
