TOLU – The High-Back Sanctuary Chair

In Yoruba, Tolu carries the meaning of gratitude — an acknowledgement of what has been given, held with grace. This chair was designed to offer something in return: a place of genuine rest. The Tolu features a tall, graceful backrest and a deep, welcoming seat, built for the moments between doing — the pause, the breath, the stillness that restores. Its lines are clean and unhurried. Its presence is calming rather than declarative. A chair that feels as though it has always belonged exactly where it is placed. Handcrafted in Lagos from premium upholstery, to individual commission.

Design: A high-profile upholstered armchair with a tall graceful backrest, elegant continuous lines, and a considered, restrained silhouette.

Ideal for dining rooms of distinction, private reading corners, master bedroom seating, and quiet hospitality spaces.
