Role Summary
The general manager is the engine of the company — the person who takes the founder’s vision and turns it into operational, financial, and commercial success.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead daily performance, manage teams, enforce systems, resolve bottlenecks, drive revenue, and ensure profitability. You must be execution-obsessed, operationally strong, people-smart, and capable of managing a multi-department team with absolute clarity.
You own the company’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
The GM has hiring, performance management, and restructuring authority across all departments, in alignment with HR.
Key Responsibilities
1. Company Execution & Leadership

- Lead daily operations and ensure every department hits its KPIs.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and speed.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and eliminate silos.
- Ensure all teams are working toward one unified operational plan.
2. Revenue & Commercial Performance

- Hold Revenue Manager accountable for weekly sales KPIs and pipeline discipline.
- Build predictable monthly revenue by enforcing targets, tracking data, and driving performance.

- Enforce Lean operations, optimized workflows, and strict cost control.
- Solve bottlenecks and improve throughput, quality, and delivery speed.
- Ensure material planning, inventory accuracy, and equipment uptime targets are consistently met.
4. Brand, Marketing & Customer Experience
- Ensure brand, marketing, and content output align with business goals and drive measurable results.
- Oversee quality of customer touchpoints — showroom, digital communication, service operations.
- Set weekly priorities for the brand and marketing teams based on revenue and growth targets.
5. Financial Discipline & Company Health
- Work closely with Finance/Accounts to ensure budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost control.
- Monitor P&L performance weekly; intervene early where numbers are off-track.
- Ensure tax compliance, financial accuracy, and cost efficiency across all departments.
6. People Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead and mentor departmental heads (Sales, Ops, Brand, Digital, Finance, HR, Logistics, Academy).
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and ensure KPI discipline across all teams.
- Build a leadership bench — developing your department heads into strong operators.
- Address low performance quickly and fairly; reward excellence consistently.

- A commercial thinker — revenue, margins, and cash flow matter to you deeply.
- A finisher — you close loops, follow through, and hold others to the same standard.
