Terms of Use — Majeurs

Payment Terms

All online orders must be paid 100% in advance before delivery or commencement of production.

• Local (Nigeria, Lagos factory): Minimum deposit of 80% before production; remaining 20% due before delivery.
• Orders will not be shipped, released, or delivered without cleared payment.
• Accepted currencies: Nigerian Naira (₦) and other global currencies as displayed on our platforms.

Refunds & Returns

• Refunds are offered on all items except custom-made products (final sale, non-refundable).
• Shipping fees are non-refundable for all orders globally.
• All returns must be sent to our Lagos HQ at the customer’s cost.
• Refunds are processed after inspection at our Lagos factory and issued within 14 working days in the same currency used for payment.
• Returned items must be unused, undamaged and in original packaging.

Shipping & Delivery

• Global delivery available; charges shown at checkout or confirmed at order.
• Customers are responsible for accurate shipping details.
• Majeurs is not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics, customs, strikes, natural disasters or unforeseen events.
• Risk of loss transfers once the product is delivered to the shipping carrier.

Product Information & Availability

While we aim for accuracy, product descriptions, images and dimensions are approximate. Natural materials (e.g., wood, fabrics) may vary in color, texture and grain—these are not defects but characteristics of handcrafted furniture. Availability depends on stock and production capacity; orders may be refused or cancelled if materials or resources are unavailable.

Warranty & Liability

All Majeurs products carry a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects only. This warranty excludes:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage due to misuse, neglect, accidents or improper maintenance.
• Unauthorized alterations or repairs.

Majeurs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profit, business or goodwill). Liability is limited strictly to the purchase price of the product.

Intellectual Property

All content on Majeurs’ websites and platforms—including designs, images, text, logos and software—is the intellectual property of Majeurs and may not be reproduced or used without our express written permission.

Custom Orders

• Production begins only upon confirmed deposit.
• Client-provided specifications (designs, dimensions, colors) approved by the customer are final; Majeurs is not responsible for errors after approval.
• Lead times are estimates; delays due to sourcing or production will be communicated but do not entitle cancellation or refund unless otherwise agreed.

Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for delays, damages, or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, supply chain disruptions or global crises.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria.

Changes to Terms

Majeurs may update or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
