SOMTO: The Generous Club Chair

In Igbo, Somto means to give thanks to God — an expression of gratitude for what one has received. This chair was designed as an act of generosity in return. Wide-seated, open in silhouette, and deep in cushion, the Somto is built for the moments shared between people — long conversations, unhurried evenings, the unplanned hours that become the ones you remember. Its flared backrest and broad frame make it an instinctively welcoming piece. A chair that earns its place in a home not through spectacle, but through use. Handcrafted in Lagos from premium upholstery, to order.

Design: A wide-base upholstered armchair with a soft, gently flared silhouette and generous deep-set cushioning.

Ideal for: Family living rooms, casual luxury lounges, hotel social seating areas, and hospitality environments that prioritise warmth.
