The Wrap-Around Bed

Àrike means “one to be cared for” in Yoruba — a name that carries tenderness and the particular privilege of being held well. This luxury wrap-around upholstered bed was built to deliver that feeling architecturally. Its extra-wide curved headboard extends well beyond the frame on both sides, creating a private enclosure around the sitter — a room within a room, a boundary between rest and the rest of the day. Deep-buttoned upholstery adds tactile richness to a silhouette that already commands a room on form alone. Handcrafted to commission.
